Ecerpts from Heavenly Paws and Love On a Leash
"This book is about eternal love. Animal lovers will find comfort and joy reading it." - Dick Van Patten, Actor & CEO of Natural Pet Foods

Excerpts from Heavenly Paws...

p.7 I was stunned that my dog Maxwell reincarnated. It is not something I expected or asked for. Quite frankly, I would not have asked. I didn't want to have to live any longer than my new puppy Gabbie's life span. Spiritually, I had died from my husband's betrayal, loss of my two parents and my two dogs. I was struggling to go on and was in a very dark place.

This is why I believe Maxwell came back to me. His purpose was to show me not only how much he loved me, but just how close the Afterlife is and that all of my loved ones are alive, well, and blissfully happy. He alo came back for his love and devotion to inspire and drive me forward.

I know my dog's message is that the love our pets have for us is like the love we'll one day have in the Afterlife. His message is life never-ends. Life is a cycle, and people need to embrace this. Society needs to understand the virtues of responsibility, respect, moral values, and love.

p.9 People need to learn from their pets, unconditional love and unwavering devotion and loyalty. If people could achieve the level of their pets think what a wonderful place Earth would be. I know the love a dog has for its owner is the same kind of love we'll one day have in the Afterlife.

p.l9 WORDS OF SIMPLICITY - in the words of Maxwell and Melody

We teach humans that love is totally unconditional with a devotion and blissful joy that inspire.

Humans will be happy when they learn to love one another by emulating their dog's love for them.

Joy is the devoted love dogs feel for their humans. It is the sound of the car, and the sound of the door opening.

Play with your human when their heart is breaking.

A simple smile warms the heart and activates the spirit.

p.46 MAXWELL'S FIRST CHRISTMAS -

Maxwell's 1st Christmas

When we returned, we entered the house to find that Max unwrapped the last gift under the tree. There were Christmas wrappings from one end of the room to the other, with our gifts in various states of disarray. My immediate thought was to thank God that Max hadn't pulled over the tree and hurt himself or eaten ornaments. I saw pure joy on Maxwell's face and thought this is Christmas innocence and joy. I enjoyed his pure delight as much as he did and found his antics great entertainment.

p.65 MAX AND MELODY RAIN AND SNOW

Maxwell did not like rain, even a drop. When we got up in the morning, I opened the door to let Max and Melody outside. Unless it was pouring rain, a happy Melody just bounced out the door. Max on the other hand, stuck his nose out the door to see if he could smell moisture in the air. If it was sunny everything was all right. If it was cloudy or damp Max had to determine if it was safe to go outside
